Photo Challenge #25 Low light

This is a great challenge. I totally love low light pictures although they are hard to get right :) This top picture is taking in one of favorite outdoor museum in Switzerland. In this mueum they have many old swiss houses that you may enter. This top picture was taken in a very old kitchen ( not mine :)

The next two picture where during one of our campertrips where we stopped for the night at this beautiful lake.

Photo Challenge # 24 Macro

On our last camper trip I we went to a modeltrain expo. I made lot's of close up pictures of cute situations and thanks to Helen who pointed out to me that I already have a macro picture :)

I totally love raindrops and that why I just had to enter a photo into this challenge

Last saturday I went for a walk outdside with the kids when this little leave cought my eye and I just had to make this picture! Hope that it still counts as a marco shot although the subject is a little futher away :)

Photo Challenge # 23 Make Over

This weekend we were on the road with our camper and woke up in this beautiful misty landscape. But then when the sun came through the trees it looked amazing and I didn't know how fast to could get to my camera and go outside. My dh had no idea what I was doing. But later that day at home, he really like the result when I showed his this picture.


Last week we suddendly had a lot of snow so I had the chance to take this picture! Tried to do something different with this so Photoshoped it with a lot of filters untill I got this effect that I liked :)

Challenge # 22 SOOC

Although this challenge sounds so easy I really had a hard time with this one! The weather was beautiful yestureday so the perfect time for a walk with the family and for me to bring my camera to hunt for the right picture for this challenge! The had this was to get the ligting just right right way! Not to happy with my results but here they are!

At the farm close by is a place where there jumpers can land. As soon as we have good weather you can see them come down throughout the day. Because yesturday was sunday a lot of them came down. So I wasn't just lucky being at the right place at the right time. But it is always a great sight to see them land. Ofcours I couldn't leave the farm with out taking a picture of a cow :)

In this picture I liked the cold blue sign against the warm green grass.

Photo Challenge#21 Zen

Hi guys, if you are wondering if I got stuck in the colors of nature challenge, you might be right a little :) But not entirely. For me Zen photographs have a sense of calm and peace in it! That's the reason I chose to make these two photo's. In my first entry I love how the light hits the leave with the frozen waterdrops on it! ( which you can see really good when you click on the photo )

My second entry was made in the small harbour at our lake. The lines on the water is made by a sailboat!

Photo Challenge # 20 colors of nature

This is the first time that I have my pictures for the Photo challenge this fast. But I was working around the house cutting the trees when this leave was suddendly staring at me and I saw this beautiful old brown color with the other yellow green leaves behind it. Simply irrisistable, so I ran inside to get my camera and here is the result :) ( ps: without photo editing )

O.K. it is now one day after I made the first pictures but the sun is out today and I am seeing so many beautiful colors around be that I had to make some more picture.

This picture of the red leaves is from my neighbors tree. Every autumn is gets this amazing deep red color and it looks like it's on fire.

For this last picture I put the camera almost on the ground to get the effect of a sea of leaves.

Photo Challenge # 19 Art of partraiture

The winter is on it's way over here and I went to a restaurant last friday that was in the middle of lots of snow. So I am very happy when we have a few warmer sunny days so that the kids can have some fun outside without all the winter gear on. Last week we had a few of those days and this picture was taken when my ds was checking if I was still in the kitchen :) He is such a cutie. B.t.w. I had cleaned those windows only a few days before , but with my two kids it doesn't take long untill every window at kids hight has dirt on it :) But I am probably not the only one with that small problem, I hope!
