Photo challenge: The beauty of decay

I must say that when I was looking at all the beautiful photo's from you'll on the blogs made me really happy. Great job guys!!

My entries were made on my way to kindergarten. There was one photo I could have made but was too scared! Close to the school is this big old house with big get off my property warning signs around it and where this old man lives. On his driveway were many rotten apples that came from this beautiful appeltree. Picture perfect , only I was too afraid to get a angry old man running after me that I wouldn't be able to explain that I was just making photo's about decay.

Photo Challenge Lines

Didn't want to go for the old mountainroad, that would have been too predictable. So I tried to show lines in a few different ways and I was surpriced how many endless ways there are!!! The for last picture was taken in a small zoo where the kids were able to give the goats some food. The goats looked so funny with their noses sticking out. The last photo is the top part of one of the old shed near our house. Great challenge Wendy!

Photo Challenge Morning, Noon and Night

What else can I show you guys for this challenge then, mountains, mountains and more mountains! Honestly this are not where I live. Last week we were on vacation in Austria! Because we were on the road a lot we didn't stay in many places long enough for the challenge until we got to my parents place. They live in this cute little valley town with a great view. The first picture is taken in the morning and so on.!

Photochallenge # 10 Signs

Sorry guys, been getting everything done for our vacation and had not too much time for this challenge. So I decided to show some real swiss signs. In switzerland every provence has their own beautiful sign and people love to put them on the front of their chalets. I made this picture with my little quick camera with one kids on my arm so the quality is not the best? LOL

The other picture I took on the my sister in laws farm. We were over for a day and this little stable sign was staring at me for hours because I some how found it beautiful!

'Hanging out in the hood' photo challenge.

I had fun hanging around in my hood

taking pictures. Now, I know we were not suppose to go for the stereotypes, but how can I show you guys my area without a real edelweis. For the second photo I thought it would be nice to see a little of my neighborhood from behind my flowers in the window.

My favorite picture I made friday. I was driving along the lake again and this time I was smart enough to take my camera along. The morning sun was shining on the water and there where a few fisherman on the lake. I love how that picture turned out!

Negative Space Challenge

I learned a hard lesson this week and that is always take your camera with you where ever you go! Last week I had just picked up my kids at Grandma's when I saw this picture perfect situation. There was this one sailboat on the foggy lake. Simply gorgeous!

Then this weekend we went on a camper trip to Gampelen at the Neuenburger Lake. On the first evening when my dh was putting the kids in bed , I went out to practice a little with my camera. On the pier I saw this swan family. Of course I wanted to take some pictures of them. After I had made a few shots daddy swan had enough and made it clear that it was time for me to leave.

But I love how one of the pictures turned out. When I was playing around in PS and thinking about negative pace,I got the idea to see what the negative of this picture would look like. I thought it looked so cool that I decided to put this picture up as my entry for this weeks challenge!

Fill the frame Photo Challenge

This weeks challenge was difficult for me! I found it hard to fill the frame with out the subject getting lost. So here are my entries for this week!

Remembering Wendy's last weeks note about not needing a great camera to take great pictures! The photo of the yellow flower was taken last year with my little cybershot. But because I thought it fitted this challenge perfectly I decided to upload this one as well.
